Books that measure up.

Plumb Line Press is the publishing imprint of Stephen P. Sullivan, author and storyteller. It is a home for work that is honest, deliberate, and worth your time.

The name comes from the plumb bob — an ancient builder's tool, a weight on a string that reveals what is perfectly vertical, perfectly true. That's the standard here: books that measure up to what matters.

Whether you're a reader in search of something real, or a friend who wants to follow along — you're welcome here.

My Story

STEPHEN P. SULLIVAN

Forthcoming — Memoir

My Story is a personal memoir of faith — an honest account of one man's gradual journey to the Lord Jesus Christ and the mission trips that changed him forever. From learning to serve at True North Church to standing at Victoria Falls asking God in humility and awe, "Why did you choose me to be here, Lord?" — this is a story for anyone searching for faith, and for every believer who needs to be reminded of what God can do.

About Stephen P. Sullivan

Plumb Line Press is the publishing imprint of Stephen P. Sullivan, author and storyteller. Stephen lives in North Augusta, South Carolina, and writes from a life shaped by faith, service, and the conviction that truth is worth telling plainly.

His debut memoir, My Story, is an honest account of one man's gradual journey to the Lord Jesus Christ — and the mission trips that changed him forever.

The plumb bob is one of the oldest tools in human civilization — a weight on a string that reveals what is perfectly vertical, perfectly true. It doesn't argue or negotiate. It simply shows you where the line falls. Stephen named his imprint after that tool because he believes that's what honest writing does: it drops a line against the things that matter and shows us where we stand.

Stephen has served at True North Church, traveled on mission to places that tested and transformed him, and come back from each experience with more to say and a deeper desire to say it truthfully. My Story is where that begins.
